Folsom-Auburn Road

Service Description

Join us for a unique evening celebrating creativity, community, and handmade goods! Each participant will create one handmade item for every person attending the event. One week before the swap, we'll provide the final participant count so you'll know exactly how many items to bring (class is limited to 20 people). On event day, everyone will gather at Julian's to exchange their creations and meet fellow makers. By the end of the evening, you'll leave with a collection of handmade treasures created by other participants. Every item is different, making this a fun way to discover new crafts, support local creativity, and connect with people who enjoy making things. Handmade items can include baked goods, candles, soaps, pottery, crochet or knitted items, artwork, jewelry, sewn goods, paper crafts, woodworking projects, and more. The only requirement is that the item is handmade by you and appropriate for exchanging with others. Whether you're an experienced artist, hobby crafter, baker, or someone who simply enjoys creating, this event is designed to be welcoming, fun, and community focused. How it works: • Register for the event • Receive the final participant count before the swap • Create one handmade item for each attendee • Bring your items to the event • Swap with fellow makers • Go home with a variety of handmade creations Event Fee: $20 To help ensure a reliable headcount and prevent participants from spending time creating items for people who do not attend, a $20 registration fee is required to reserve your spot. Your registration includes: • A coffee drink of your choice • Small bites and mini desserts provided by Julian's Patisserie Our kitchen will also be open during the event, and our full menu will available for purchase! Come share your craft, meet new people, and leave inspired by the creativity of our community! Please note: All items must be handmade by the participant. Food items should be individually packaged and include ingredient/allergen information. Space is limited, and registration is required. Disclaimer: Julian's Patisserie & Café is hosting this event as a gathering place for the community. All handmade items are created and provided by individual participants. The café is not responsible for the quality, safety, ingredients, materials, or use of any items exchanged during the event. Participants are encouraged to ask questions about ingredients, materials, and allergens before accepting items.
